19 Mighty Mouse Playhouse

Mighty Mouse Playhouse was a collection of short films that starred the animated character Mighty Mouse. Paul Terry sold Terrytoons in the ’50s to CBS. The animated series, which ran between 1955 and 1967, was then created by CBS.

Tom Morrison was the voice of Mighty Mouse in the series. The series was eventually canceled in favor of more successful series like Tom & Jerry or Woody Woodpecker and Looney Tunes.

After buying the studio, CBS produced three cartoons. Mighty Mouse Playhouse was the most memorable. Terry received $3.5 million from CBS when he signed the deal. He retired quickly to enjoy luxury, and he said goodbye to animation.
