Early Life

Kane Allen Brown was born in Tennessee on 21 October 1993. He was raised by his single mom and faced many challenges in his childhood. His family often moved from one area to the other, and sometimes he was even homeless.

He attended multiple schools as a child. While he was a student at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia, he sang with Lauren Alaina, his friend who became the second-place finisher on American Idol season 10.

Brown auditioned for ‘American Idol” and ‘X-Factor and was selected for the latter. Brown decided to quit the show after the show’s producers wanted to place him in a boy group. He was more interested in pursuing a solo career.

He gained an enormous fan following online in no time. His videos featured covers of songs by Brantley Gil, Billy Currington, Alan Jackson, and Lee Brice. His viral hit cover of George Strait’s “Check Yes or No” became an instant success and he gained a lot of online fame.

In response to the overwhelming response, he uploaded a teaser to his original song, “Used to Love You Sober”, which he first made available on his Facebook page.

2016 was a very productive year for him. In March, he released Chapter 1 on his EP. Then, in December, he released Chapter 2. His first full-length album came out in December. The album was a big success and was awarded platinum status in the US.

Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit their abilities to what they believe they can accomplish. You have the power to go as far and as high as your mind will allow you. Remember that you can achieve what you believe.

Favorite Quotes From Kane Brown

Alex is my friend and I was on the road together. While we watched ‘Click’ by Adam Sandler, we also enjoyed the movie. He and I were just feeling the same way, I don’t know why. Then we called our girls, and they were like, “We are so sorry.” We wish you could be here!

This is something I never would have imagined I would achieve in my lifetime. Gold with “Used To Love You Sober” was something we’ve done before, which I thought was great. However, once you are Platinum you can see the difference between 500,000 to a million.
