Favorite Quotes From Mick Mars

Today’s musicians have become accustomed to Protools. I find it disgusting. It’s possible to go into a studio without being a musician and start beating on things. They can take pieces out of the instrument, move it around and make you sound like Slash. You can get a weird feedback effect during a solo guitar.

Drinking made me a completely different person to my playing. Although it was slower, I enjoyed it. It was almost as if the alcohol was telling me what to do.
