Siakam was the power forward in the first 34 games of the 2016-17 season. He was then replaced by Lucas Nogueira in the starting lineup on January 5, 2017. Siakam was assigned multiple times to Raptors 905, Toronto’s D-League affiliate, during his rookie season.
