Top 10 Behind-The-Scenes Fun from ‘Say Yes to the Dress’

For almost 13 years, the popular television series ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ has followed the search of many brides for the perfect gown. It is located in Kleinfeld, a renowned bridal shop with roots in Brooklyn, New York. Kleinfeld has attracted brides all over the country since its inception. “Say Yes To the Dress” has only grown its popularity.

It’s easy to see why the show is so popular. There are many factors that contributed to its success, such as the charm of the Kleinfeld consultants and the entertainment of the brides and their entourages. And of course, there were numerous stunningly beautiful wedding dresses on display. Here are 10 behind-the-scenes facts to help you understand the process.

10 Filming Only Happens on Certain Days

If you’re lucky enough to be chosen to appear on the show you will need to make a day of it. ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ is mostly filmed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Kleinfeld will likely be quieter on these days than on weekends – and the consultants are generally more available.

This makes sense, although we aren’t sure why Wednesday isn’t a good day for filming! All the brides who didn’t make it to the final cut have the opportunity to view the filming process at their own appointment or appear in the background if they book on those dates.
