Matthew Fox was born in Wyoming and loves to travel. The 6’2″ actor was noticed by a Columbia football scout, and in 1985 he was drafted to play wideout at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts. Fox joined the team and it was a difficult time for them. He played against Princeton and Dean Cain. The team lost only two games during Fox’s time on the team. 

Matthew Fox attended the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts for two years in New York City. He married Margherita Ronchi in 1992. They have two children together: a daughter called Kyle and a son named Byron.
