Michael Jordan covered his basketball team’s logo with an American Flag during the 1992 Olympics.  Jordan was basically an ambassador of Nike, which is a major competitor to Reebok. Jordan, the basketball star, couldn’t be seen promoting a competitor’s brand.

Jordan always kept an American flag on hand. Jordan explained, “The American Flag cannot deface any object.” He used the flag to cover Reebok’s logo on his right side. Needless to mention, he was extremely loyal to Nike.
