Early life

Joseph Allen Maldonado Passage was born in Kansas on the 5th of March 1963.

He grew up alongside his siblings Tamara and Pamela, Yarri and Garold G.W Wayne.

He and his family relocated to Texas where he attended Pilot Point High School. After finishing school, he joined Eastvale’s police department.

His brother Yarri exposed him and Exotic responded by making Exotic shake his hands and promising not to attend his funeral.

Career

Exotic was the founder of Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, Wynnewood, Oklahoma. This is how he became famous. He was the first police officer to be posted in Eastvale (Texas).

From 2016 to 2018, he ran as an Independent and then as a Libertarian, before his membership was revoked. Exotic ran for the presidency of the United States in 2016. He ran again two years later for the office of Governor of Oklahoma.

Exotic was convicted in 2019 on 17 counts of animal cruelty and two murder charges for his part in the plot against Carole Baskin. For his crimes, he was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison.

In a trademark dispute, he was previously required to pay Carole Baskin $1 million. Baskin later received control over all his zoo properties.

He was hiding his ownership by transferring the rights to his mother. Baskin was later able to turn this transfer over. Baskin also took control of many cars and houses on the property.

He starred in the 2020’s Netflix documentary, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, Madness’.
