Early Life

Kevin Scott Nash was born in Detroit, Michigan, on the 9th July 1959.

Nash was just 8 years old when his father died from a heart attack. After a long four-year fight against breast cancer, Nash lost his mother Wanda in 1994.

After attending Aquinas High school, Nash spent two semesters at Tennessee Tech University from 1980 to 1981. He was a member of the Men’s basketball team. After graduating from Aquinas High School, Nash transferred to the University of Tennessee where he studied psychology and educational philosophy.

Career

In 1996, Nash created the “New World Order”. After playing basketball at the University of Tennessee, he moved to Europe to pursue a career in professional basketball. In 1981, he tore his anterior Cruciate ligament.

In 1991, Nash was a singles wrestler called Oz. His character changed to Vinnie Vegas the following year. He was part of the stables under Diamond Dallas page and Harley Race, and he teamed up with Page.

He took the role of Diesel at the 1993 World Wrestling Federation 1993. His first job was as a bodyguard to Shawn Michaels.

In addition, he won five WCW World Heavyweight Championships as well as one WWF Championship. He is a 12-time champion of tag teams in WWE, WCW, and TNA. He and Hall were both founding members of The New World Order, along with Hulk Hogan.
