Career
Rose was initially hired by The Screen Savers as a production assistant. He began his career as a production assistant at The Screen Savers. In 2004, he was made a regular cohost on TechTV.
Comcast’s G4 gaming channel announced that it would merge with TechTV in the same year. To stay with G4, he moved to Los Angeles. Rose and G4 reached an agreement that ended his contract the next year.
Rose was joined by Diggnation cohost Alex Albrecht on the inaugural episode of ‘R&D TV. In 2007, Rose was a contestant on NewTeeVee Live’s game show.
He started podcasting in 2003 with the first episode ‘the broken’. In April 2005, Jay Adelson and David Prager founded Revision3 in Los Angeles.
Rose made the announcement that he and the Milk team were hired by Google in the aftermath of closing down Milk, laying off the remaining employees, and several years later. Rose began his first day as a senior manager of products for Google on March 19, 2012.
