Zac Efron, a California native, was born in San Luis Obispo on the 18th of October 1987. Efron is the son of one brother and his parents were both power plant workers.

Efron said that he was a normal child and was raised in a nonreligious middle-class family. He was a hard worker at school and would get upset if he didn’t receive an ‘A’ on his reports.
